Curtis A. Nunn, Sr. is the Senior Pastor of Bethel Christian Worship Center. He is a product of the East St. Louis Area. He graduated from East St. Louis Lincoln Senior High school. He attended the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, Washington University, and Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville IL. Pastor Nunn received his call to ministry at the age of 14 years. He was called to the Pastorate at the age of 19 years and has been faithful to the charge that he has been assigned by God. Pastor Nunn states that one of his major concerns as a minister of the Gospel is the lack of positive images in the black community and the general sense of hopelessness in our society. I feel that the answer is the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which is a powerful positive force when allowed to operate in our hearts and lives. The good news is that the bad news is wrong!
